Cathedral of the Most Holy Mary of the Visitation

The cathedral was built in the first half of the 19th century. Fourteenth century and is considered the most important example of medieval religious architecture in Sicily. The property is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The cathedral was rebuilt several times and now it represents the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles.
