Capoliveri is a holiday town on Elba. There are sandy beaches hidden in sheltered bays. The village has a nice stone architecture and is also known for the cultivation of vines.
Situated at the top of a hill, Capoliveri has access to several beautiful beaches, including the sandy Zuccale Beach and Lacona Beach. They attract tourists with excellent conditions for relaxation and a calm sea, which in the sun turns into a fabulously blue shade.
The buildings fall down the slopes, and the higher the more old, traditional houses appear. Many of them can only be accessed via stone stairs. There are many vineyards in the area that produce local wines. You can taste them in local restaurants and trattorias. The mountainous surroundings mean that you can also go for walks with beautiful views of the Tuscan coast and the surrounding islands.
