Campo nell'Elba is a resort town famous for its beautiful sandy beaches. The town also has nice, historic buildings, and the picturesque, mountainous surroundings encourage walks.
For centuries, the town located on Elba lived mainly from agriculture and fishing. It was not until the tourism boom that came in the mid-twentieth century that changed its face. The center has remained traditional and reflects the historical character of the settlement, while guesthouses, hotels and holiday apartments have appeared on the outskirts. Tourists are drawn here by clean, golden sand beaches and varied coast.
The main attractions of Campo nell'Elba are the local beaches of Fetovaia and Cavoi Beach. Both are situated in small bays and are surrounded by forest from the land side. This makes relaxation calm, but not without comfort. On the beaches you can rent recreational equipment and there are also bars. Cruises along the coast, often combined with picnics, are very popular.
