This ancient Roman theater was created during the rule of the Flavian dynasty. In 2011, it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The theater was built partly with the help of the natural slope of the Cidneo hill, which is closer to the rather ancient Greek theaters. The remains of the stage and the original wall from the street have survived to this day.
