Museo di Zoologica

The museum was opened in 1860 and collects the largest zoological collection in Italy. The core of the collection consists of exhibits collected by the 16th-century naturalist Ulysses Aldrovandi and finds from Cospi and Marsili collected in the 18th century. The exhibitions are enriched with dioramas that expand individual topics.
