The church was built in the years 1267-1315, being a mixture of three styles - Romanesque, Gothic and late Renaissance. You can admire the beautiful chapels of Bentivoglio and Poggi, the tomb of Antoni Galeazzo Bentivoglio by Jacopo della Quercia (1453), two fifteenth-century crosses made by Jacopo di Paolo, as well as several valuable paintings.
