Badia is a mountain tourist destination in the Dolomites. It is surrounded by the picturesque landscapes of the Fanes-Sennes-Braies nature park and the Puez-Geisler park, where you can go hiking and climbing.
The village has traditional Tyrolean architecture, above which rises the tower of a gothic church with a later baroque façade. The rocky slopes of the Sas for Crusc Massif are visible above the surrounding meadows and the gentle wooded mountains. It is a mountain with very steep slopes and a flat plateau, looking like a huge table from a distance.
Badia's attractions include mainly the local hiking trails of varying difficulty. You can go hiking in the surrounding meadows and forests, and higher up the peaks. There are also bicycle routes running through the valley, and in winter you can go skiing here.
