Marlay Park

Marlay Park is a suburban public park. There are forests, ponds and walking routes. Recreation spaces include a golf course, tennis courts, soccer fields, and cricket ground. There are also two playgrounds for children and a miniature railway track with mockups. The park is home to the Marlay Park Residence with an adjoining garden that can also be visited.

There are several small craft workshops in the courtyard adjacent to Marlay House, including weaving, glass cutting and bookbinding. One of them was originally the headquarters of Evie Hone, whose stained glass windows were housed in the Marlay House library.

Marlay Park is the official starting point of the Wicklow Way trail, which is 132 km long. The trail passes through the Wicklow Mountains and ends at Clonegal village in Co. Carlow.
