Underground route

The route leads through cellars and corridors, which began to arise under the city at the end of the 17th century. They were used to store wine. It is estimated that the basements formed a total of 147 km of underground chambers and corridors. Currently, only a few hundred meter fragment has been made available to tourists. It is worth remembering that the temperature inside is around 12 ° C.
