Castle of Eger

The castle was built in the 13th century. Today, it houses the István Dobó Museum, the Heroes' Hall, a picture gallery, and the grave of Géza Gárdonyi. Every year in August, a festival and siege reconstruction take place here in honor of the victory over the Turkish army.
