Tylissos Archaeological Site

One of the most important archaeological sites in Crete. Its surroundings have been continuously inhabited since around the 18th century BC. Remains of the city of Minoan civilization have survived here. The foundations of houses, workshops and temples are visible. Due to the constant presence of people, objects from the heyday of Greek classical culture from the 5th century BC were also discovered here.
