Fortezza Castle

A powerful stone fortress built in the 16th century by the Venetians. The whole population of the city could fit in its walls. Currently, one can see barracks, warehouses, a church and a hospital. The bastions and defensive walls have been preserved in very good condition. The fortress is used to organize cultural events and as a venue for exhibitions.
