One of the most important natural attractions of Crete. Balos Lagoon is famous for its white sand and blue water. It is a place that resembles tropical beaches. The sea here is calm and warm, ideal for children. Beyond the rock barrier is deeper, cooler water in which to dive. Ferries from Kissamos arrive at the lagoon.
