Built in 1892, the lighthouse stands on the southern edge of Santorini. A path leads to it through a long, narrow cape. The lighthouse is picturesquely located and presents the most beautiful at sunset. It is a low, whitewashed building with a stone finish of the corners. A square tower ends with a lantern.
