Archaeological Museum of Chania

The museum is located in the former monastery of St. Francis, one of the most important monuments from the Venetian times in Crete. His collections are divided into two galleries: prehistoric and ancient. You can see Greek statues, painted vases from different periods of the Cretan civilization, architectural elements or weapons and household tools.
