Church of Theotokos Gorgoepiko and Agios Eleftherios

The church is also called the Small Metropolis. It is a Byzantine temple erected probably in the 13th century on the ruins of an earlier one. It was made entirely of stones from earlier ancient and Byzantine buildings. The church has a cross plan with a dome over the nave crossing. The interior has no decorations. Only a simple, modern iconostasis is found here.
