Feringa Lake
Local name: Feringasee
An artificial water reservoir was created in the gravel mine excavation used in the construction of highways in 1974-1976. It is now a popular recreational area, with a separate naturist beach and excellent surfing conditions. There is a restaurant, volleyball courts and a large parking lot.
