Allianz Arena is the most modern and impressive sports facility in the world. It is the second largest football stadium in Germany. It can seat around 71,000 fans. Matches of FC Bayern München and TSV 1860 München football clubs are played here. The 2006 Football World Cup was held at the Allianz Arena. The stadium was then called "FIFA WM-Stadion München".
A special feature that distinguishes this structure from other sports facilities is the characteristic roof and facade of the stadium. They are built of small diamond-shaped airbags, each of which can be separately highlighted in club colors: in white, red or blue, in different shades of these colors and according to the colors of the hosts (red for FC Bayern, blue for 1860 München and white for the national team).
The design of the three levels of the stands ensures visibility from anywhere in the stadium. The stadium's extensive infrastructure means that Arena Allianz offers optimal and exclusive conditions for all kinds of events. There are numerous conference rooms, office rooms, restaurants and shops. The stadium also has a four-level car park, which is the largest car park in Europe. Trips with many attractions are organized for visitors, including an interactive exhibition about the most important moments of the club.
