Local name: Wörlitzer Park
The English-style park covers an area of 21 hectares. It is adjacent to a historic, classical palace, while in the park there are also small architecture objects (gazebos, bridges, etc.). It was created in the second half of the 18th century at the request of Prince Anhalt-Dessau Leopold III Friedrich Franz. In 2000 the complex was inscribed on the UNESCO cultural heritage list.
