LWL Museum of Art and Culture

The museum has the largest art collections in Westphalia. They are divided into old and modern art. Here you can see medieval table painting, Romanesque and Gothic religious sculptures, works of Renaissance and Baroque painters. The new part of the museum presents works of artists of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, including German expressionists, as well as numismatic collections.
