The oldest free-standing monumental sculpture in Germany. According to popular opinion, the monument made of stone depicts Otto I and two women assisting him. Originally, the sculpture stood on the Old Town Square. Due to its technical condition and tremendous value, it was transferred to the museum, and a copy was put in its place.
