Museum of the Holstentor Gate

Formerly an important part of the medieval fortifications, now the most recognizable monument, the symbol of the city, which, along with the old town of Lübeck, was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The gate is the seat of the city museum, where you can learn about the city's development over the centuries and see numerous models of ships.
