Mary's church

Gothic church belonging to the most important monuments of the Old Town in Lübeck. It was built from residents' contributions in the 13th century. In 1942 it was destroyed by an Allied bombing raid. It was rebuilt in the mid-20th century while maintaining a medieval appearance. A large part of the equipment was also reconstructed. The church together with the entire Old Town in Lübeck is on the UNESCO list.
