Egyptian Museum

Local name: Ägyptisches Museum

The first skyscraper in Leipzig. It was built in 1927 as the seat of the Koch bank. It is a ten-story reinforced concrete structure. On the top floor there is a clock, and on the roof there are two men hitting the bell. This is a reference to a clock that has been standing in Venice since the 15th century.
