Abbey of St. Bartholomew
Local name: Benediktinerabtei Stift Neuburg
Founded in the 12th century, the abbey existed until the Reformation, when the monastic life ceased. The monks returned only in the 20th century - they currently run an organic farm here. In the monastery store you can buy excellent milk, jams, apple juice, cold cuts and trout grown on site. There is also a small brewery in the monastery.
