The museum was established at the beginning of the 20th century on the basis of a collection of works of the popular German caricaturist Wilhelm Busch. Currently, in addition to his drawings and graphics, he also presents caricatures and satirical drawings made by the most famous artists of the 20th century, including Jean-Jacques Sempé, Francisco de Goy and Ronald Searle.
