The port of Hamburg is an important trade center with the countries of Eastern and Northern Europe. Despite the 120 km distance from the sea, it is able to accept the largest container ships in the world, which makes it the third largest port in Europe.
The port offers a range of maritime attractions for tourists, such as trips and cruises on ships and sailboats, maritime museums, including ship museums and many more.
