Innenhafen Duisburg

The 19th-century internal port, abandoned in the 1960s, has now been revitalized and transformed into a living monument of industrial culture. Many cultural facilities have been located in production halls and warehouses, including museum of modern art (Küppersmühle), synagogue and spatial installation called the Garden of Remembrance (about the Holocaust).
