Museum Castle Bernburg

A Renaissance castle standing on a hill towering over the surrounding area. It stands in the place of a medieval fortress. It was the seat of the princes of Anhalt. Currently, its walls contain exhibitions of the local museum. You can see, among others, an exhibition of minerals, a section devoted to torture and a large exposition presenting cabaret activities in the GDR.
