Bamberg Cathedral

Local name: Bamberger Dom

The cathedral dates from the 13th century and combines the features of a Romanesque style with early Gothic. You can see numerous medieval works of art, mainly paintings, sculptures and woodcarving. It is one of the seven historic imperial cathedrals. Pope Clement II was buried there.
