Castle mountain Harzburg

The forested hill measures 483 m above sea level. From its peak there is a panoramic view of the city of Bad Harzburg and the North German Plain. You can get there on foot or by gondola. On the slope are the ruins of the medieval Harzburg castle. The hill is the starting point for several tourist routes.
