The Church of Our Lady of Victory is located in the center of Paris, in the 2nd district. It is a building with a classicistic shape, with a multi-story facade decorated with pilasters. The interior also represents the baroque style. It is richly decorated with polychromes and equipped with gilded altars and pulpit.
The church was built for the Augustinian monastery. The foundation stone for him was laid by King Louis XIII. He also chose the temple patron, in memory of the victory over the Huguenots during the siege of La Rochelle.
It is a three-nave, towerless temple with a symmetrical, multi-story facade. Three entrances framed by portals lead to the interior. The interior is decorated with Baroque splendor. The walls are covered with illusionistic polychromes. The interior design elements are decorated with gilding and carved floral and geometric motifs.
