The Anne Frank Garden is located in the Marais district, at the back of the Judaic Museum. It is a small park with a pergola, a fruit orchard and flower beds. There are benches and places where you can spread a blanket on the grass.
The garden is dedicated to the Jewish girl Anne Frank from Amsterdam, whose diary from the occupation period is one of the best known testimonies of the Holocaust. In her garden, chestnuts were planted in her garden, which she described.
The park is located at the back of the houses. It's invisible from the street. Lilacs, ornamental grasses and shrubs and creepers grow in it. Part of the area was already a garden in the 17th century and belonged to the residence of Hôtel de Saint-Agnan.
