Nans-sous-Sainte-Anne is a village on the Jura Plateau that is mainly known for its natural and scenic attractions. There are extremely picturesque springs of the Lison River and great climbing sites.

The small town is very picturesquely situated and is a good base for hiking in the Jura. In the area there is also the via ferrata Baumes du Verneau route, which is almost one and a half kilometers long, popular with climbers and tourists.

The biggest attraction of Nans-sous-Sainte-Anne is the Lison spring, It is located approx. 2 km away and leads to it on a hiking trail. The river flows out of the cave and forms a beautiful cascade right after its mouth, which does not dry up even in summer.
