Les Deux Alpes is one of the most important European ski resorts. Located on the slopes of 2 mountains above an alpine valley, it offers over 200 km of ski slopes and excellent apres-ski facilities.
The town is situated at the foot of the Dome de la Lauze and Mont de Lans mountains. The latter can be accessed by an underground train to admire the magnificent views from the top, which reach Mont Blanc in good weather. The southern slope of the slopes means that they are usually sunny, which increases the attractiveness of the descents.
The resort covers areas from 1350 to 3600 m above sea level. In its upper part, apart from easier routes, there is also a huge snow park. The routes in Les Deux Alpes are mostly of medium difficulty, but for advanced skiers there are also over 30 km of difficult and very difficult routes. Around the slope, there are extensive dining facilities, equipment rentals and service, ski schools and much more.
The town itself offers various levels of accommodation, access to restaurants, bars, gyms, spa centers and night clubs. There are companies that organize snowshoe tours, snowmobile rides and paragliding flights.
In summer, the area is a paradise for lovers of active tourism. The attractions of Les Deux Alpes are hiking, climbing and biking trails, downhill tracks, paragliding and a wide range of sports facilities.
