Vercors Regional Park

The park includes a limestone plateau in the Alps, in the vicinity of Grenoble and the surrounding mountains reaching about 2,300 m above sea level. Over a dozen historic towns are scattered around the picturesque surroundings. There are also caves and free-standing rocks. The park is eagerly visited by hikers, climbers and cavers.
