Åland Museum of Cultural History

The Åland Cultural History Museum in Marienham is housed in the same building as the Art Museum. It is devoted to the history, ethnography and culture of the Åland Islands from ancient times, through the Middle Ages, the era of great powers, up to the present day. The collections include archaeological, historical, ethnographic, natural and works of art collections. In addition to the permanent exhibitions, themed temporary exhibitions, shows and events are regularly organized here.
