Jelling Mounds

Both knights belong to the complex of monuments inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The larger one is 8.5 m high and 65 m wide, which makes it the largest burial mound in Denmark. There is a burial chamber in it, probably the burial place of Gorm Stary. The smaller mound is empty.
