The Hop Museum is part of the Temple of Hop and Beer. It is a modern exhibition, which on an area of over 4,000 square meters shows the traditions of hop growing and brewing beer from medieval times to today.
The museum was founded at the beginning of the 21st century. This is an interactive exhibition during which visitors not only learn about the buildings of the former brewery, but also travel in time and space discovering various issues related to hop. The exhibition showed the process of beer production, tools and equipment that has been used for its production and hop cultivation for centuries. Since the Middle Ages, Zatec have been known for their high-quality hop crops. The exhibition also shows where the possibility of obtaining such high quality raw material arose and how it was traded since the Middle Ages.
