Silesian stones
Local name: Dívčí kameny
Silesian Stones are located on the Polish-Czech border in the Giant Mountains. It is a group of Karkonosze granite outcrops about 8 meters high. They stand on the summit of the same name, from which there are nice views of the countryside.
The Czech name of the rocks and the summit comes from the legend of the shepherdess who supposedly died here looking for her flock. The peak is 1414 m above sea level. Most of the rocks in this picturesque group are already on the Polish side of the border. You can get here by following the yellow trail from Spindleruv Mlyn, the red trail running along the Polish-Czech border and the black trail from Polish Jagnitkowo.
