Watermill Valley
Local name: Mlýnská dolina
The Młynów Valley is part of the Wallachian Museum. It complements the exhibitions located in the Wallachian Village and Wooden Town. Shown here are a grain mill, fulling mill, sawmill and oil mill.
The museum's task is to show industrial plants that used water as their power source. The buildings presented here come from the 18th and 19th centuries. They were moved from the village of Wołoszczyzna, where they served people in the mid-20th century.
All the plants presented in the museum are in working order. The stream flowing here constantly drives their wheels. Workshops are fully equipped. You can see the tools used by the craftsmen working there, as well as finished products. The forest workers' hut is also presented. There is also a so-called "living house" in the Valley, where you can try your hand at ancient crafts.
