Devil's Stones

Weighing about 2.5 tons, the volcanic rock structure was erected in 1888. The origin and purpose of the columns has never been explained. It could have been originally a sundial or a fragment of a former Romanesque basilica. Legend has it that this is the work of Satan, from which on hot days you can smell the rising smell of sulfur.
