The Botanical Garden in Prague covers an area of approx. 50 ha. It houses the Fata Morgana greenhouse, where exhibitions are presented: lowland rainforest of wet tropics, vegetation of dry tropics and subtropical zone and cool environment of wet mountains. On the other hand, vineyards and the Japanese garden deserve special attention.
The Prague Botanical Garden in Troy stretches on the right bank of the Vltava, in a valley, on rocky terrain. This gives favorable conditions for growing and caring for plants. Mediterranean flora was planted on the steep slopes of the basin, Central European wetlands and forest biotopes characteristic of North America and Asia were created.
The Botanical Garden also includes the vineyards of Salabka and St. Clare. St. Vincent's Vineyard Klara has a wine house and a historic chapel dedicated to Saint. Clare. You can also taste local Prague wine in the vineyards. In the garden you can also find rockeries, rock garden and herb garden.
