Na Turolda Cave is the largest in the Pawłowski Mountains. It is a karst cave, created in limestone rocks. It is characterized by corrosive rock forms reminiscent of frozen coral reefs. You can also see fossilized ammonites, corals and fragments of prehistoric fish. The cave has a lake of emerald color.
Na Turoldzie cave connects with the neighboring Liza Nora. Together they form a corridor system with a length of about 2.5 km. The tourist route is about 1 km long. Bats live in the recesses of the cave, including a rare horseshoe. The cave is known primarily for its unusual formations. It is not created, like in other karst caves, by stalactites, stalagmites and draperies, but by pieces resembling the bottom of a tropical sea. The walls are covered with small cavities in which calcite, shiny dust accumulates, which makes the interior look slightly illuminated. They also have pea-like growths. The attraction of the underground is a round pond, whose water has a beautiful emerald color.
