Louise Spring
Local name: Luisin pramen
The spring of Ludwika flows out at the spa park in the Franciszkowe Lazne spa. Its waters are used primarily for medicinal baths. The descent to the source and the pool is located in the empire columnar pavilion.
The source was discovered in 1806, shortly after the establishment of the spa. It was named after the wife of Emperor Franciszek I, Maria Ludwika. Shortly afterwards, two more sources were discovered nearby, New Source and Cold Water. All three shots were used to fill the pool for healing baths.
In 1926, the sources were covered with a pavilion. It is a round building based on arcades. In the center, above the building, there is a dome supported by a drum with small windows. The descent to the springs and the swimming pool is located in the central part of the pavilion. The bath room was placed underground.
