The Museum of Modern Art (Muzej suvremene umjetnosti) in Zagreb is located in a building designed by the famous architect Igor Franić. On 3500 m² of exhibition space, you can admire the works of the most outstanding contemporary artists, such as: Dalibor Martinis, Victor Vasarely, Julio Le Parc and Katarzyna Kozyra.
Museum visitors can also use the local library, multimedia room, cafe and restaurant, there is also a bookstore offering interesting items on modern art issues.
The museum was founded on the basis of a collection collected over the years by the Municipal Gallery of Contemporary Art (operating since the 1950s). The gallery did not have a permanent seat, the exhibition could be seen, including at the Center of Photography, Film and Television. The new headquarters of the museum was opened in 2009.
