The Dražen Petrović Museum and Memorial Center (Muzejsko Memorijalni Centar Dražen Petrović) in Zagreb is a place dedicated to the outstanding Croatian basketball player, one of the best Euroleague players, NBA league player (Portland Trail Blazers and New Jersey Nets).
Visitors can learn about Petrović's life story from his childhood spent in the Croatian town of Sibenik, through the beginning of his career in KK Cibona Zagreb and the first international successes in Real Madrid Baloncesto, up to appearances in the NBA league.
Petrović's brilliant sports career ended in tragic circumstances, the basketball player died in a car accident at the age of only 29 years. The accident occurred on the way back from the qualifying match to the European championship, which was played in Poland.
