Park Perivoj kralja Petra Krešimir IV is a regular, strongly geometrical park in the center of Osijek, dedicated to Piotr Krzesimir IV the Great, King of Croatia in the years 1058–1074. The park has a network of comfortable, paved alleys that cut lawns with tall trees growing at considerable intervals. The whole is complemented by flower beds and a centrally located fountain.
The Krzesimir IV Park is one of several "royal" green areas in this area. It neighbors the parks of Stefan Držislav (ruled in the years 969–995) and Tomisław Croatian, the first king of Croatia (founded in 925 after the unification of the Pannonian and Dalmatian principalities). All three came from the Trpimirowicz dynasty, they all contributed significantly to building the sovereignty of the state and expanding its territory.
There are 36 species of trees and shrubs in the park, including ginkgo biloba, weymouth pine, pedunculate oak, field maple, edible dogwood and flowering black veined lush.
