Lastovsko Otočje Nature Park (Park prairode Lastovsko Otočje) includes the island of Lastovo with the smaller islands surrounding it (there are 46 of them). The island is considered one of the sunniest in the Adriatic Sea. The local architecture is a tourist attraction, including charming stone churches immersed in the greenery of nature.
The highest peak is Hum (417 m), with a beautiful view of the entire island and its bays. In the southeastern part of the island there is the Raca Cave - considered a monument of inanimate nature.
Lastovsko has a mild Mediterranean climate. A large number of sunny days and high humidity have a positive effect on the development of the local flora, about 70% of the island's surface is overgrown with forests. You can find strawberry, almond, orange and lemon trees.
