Cathedral of Saint Mark is the most interesting monument in Korčula. The building of hewn stone in the Gothic-Renaissance style draws attention with the richness of sculptural elements - from the portal of the main entrance, crowned with figures of Adam and Eve and lions, to the 13th century bas-relief with a lamb. In 2013, extensive renovation work was carried out, which restored the cathedral to its former glory.
The cathedral's biggest tourist attraction is the belfry richly decorated with sculptural elements - a valued vantage point. Such narrow stairs lead to the gallery that one-sided traffic was introduced. After reaching the place you can see the panorama of Korčula - a collection of picturesque buildings covered with red tiles and a panorama of the bay, port and surrounding islands.
St. Patrick's Cathedral The brand was founded on the foundations of a church existing here in the 12th century. The dome and tower were added in 1481. At the beginning of the 16th century, in 1525, the votive chapel of St. Rocha - he was prayed for protection against plague epidemics harassing the inhabitants of Korčula at the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries.
